Bill,
According to Don Agro, MLDX author, he uses the N1MMLogger+ UDP feed.
You said "only the direct UDP messages sent to N1MM Logger+ and the WSJT-X ADIF
log have the contest exchange information.”
If MLDX uses the N1MM feed, shouldn’t it receive the context exchange info? Or
am I missing something?

Hi David,
if that is so then the ADIF field names are not being correctly
interpreted. The relevant fields for the ARRL RTTY RU contest are STATE
which has the received state, VE province code or DC when a US or VE
station is logged or SRX which contains the received serial number when
a QSO with a DX category station is logged. For operators in the DX
category the field STX with the sent serial number will be included. The
operators own state, VE province, or DC must be set up in the
destination logger as if it were being used directly to log the contest.
I am not aware of the author(s) of MLDX asking about this, if they had I
would have strongly recommended that they implement a WSJT-X UDP
protocol server interface as it contains all this and much more
information including every decode as it happens.
