Hi Dick,
there is no forced EOL date for WSJT-X v1.9.1 but we have requested that
MSK144 users switch to v2 some time back. For FT8 the requested date is
the end of the suggested switchover period i.e. 31st Dec 2018, we hope
that the majority will have switched to v2.0.0 GA before then.
For other modes there is no great urgency to upgrade as there are no
breaking protocol changes. We have not had a great deal of feedback on
other modes in the v2.0.0 candidate releases, probably due to the
smaller user base and because there is not much new there. Recently that
has improved a bit. We would still prefer users to upgrade to help with
finding issues as we do not have the resources to support defect repairs
and support on multiple versions.
