playing some arbitrary .WAV file on the default sound device is not difficult and easily achieved on any platform WSJT-X runs on. On the other hand the problems lie with misconfiguration where the sound card used for transmission is set as default, it is considerably harder to discover that and automatically disable undesired transmission of alerts. Because of this last reason I doubt we would implement such a feature. Other options are available and the WSJT-X UDP message protocol provides more than sufficient information for an external application to to do this or similar (email, SMS, ...).
