Finally did succeed in compiling V. 2.0.0 on my Mint 18.3....
Here is the list of the libraries that I had to install to complete the
task.
-----------------------
asciidoc (8.6.9-3)
a2ps (1:4.14-1.3)
psutils (1.17.dfsg-2)
Packages above are optional, see below.
libqt5serialport5-dev (5.5.1-2build1)
asciidoctor (1.5.4-1)
The asciidoctor package is optional, see below.
libqt5multimediaquick-p5 (5.5.1-4ubuntu2)
WSJT-X does not need Qt-Quick, no need for the above package.
qtmultimedia5-dev (5.5.1-4ubuntu2)
libusb-1.0-0-dev (2:1.0.20-1
libfftw3-bin (3.3.4-2ubuntu1)
libfftw3-dev (3.3.4-2ubuntu1)
libfftw3-long3 (3.3.4-2ubuntu1)
libfftw3-quad3 (3.3.4-2ubuntu1)
The only FFTW3 package you need to install should be lib-fftw3-dev.
gfortran (4:5.3.1-1ubuntu1)
gfortran-5 (5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.10)
libgfortran-5-dev (5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.10)
Just installing the gfortran package should get you all the Fortran
tools and libraries you need.

Maybe someone is not needed....I was going by trials.

I suggest to add the right list in the INSTALL file before the cmake
commands.
There is no *right list* it depends on the distribution of Linux you
build on.
If you followed these instructions from the INSTALL file:
Building WSJT-X from the Self-Contained Source Tarball
======================================================
The above commands, if successful, will produce 'wsjtx-1.9.1.tgz'
which is a source tarball ready for use on another system to do a
local build, for example:
$ mkdir ~/build
$ cd ~/build
$ tar xzf wsjtx-2.0.0.tgz
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
$ cmake -DWSJT_SKIP_MANPAGES=ON -DWSJT_GENERATE_DOCS=OFF ../wsjtx-2.0.0
$ cmake --build .
$ sudo cmake --build . --target install
You would have needed far fewer packages installed.
