I can reproduce this by any start of wsjtx.
But I now found the problem I think.
When I start WSJTX, it turns the transceiver into LSB mode, and there
are not ft8 signals down there 😊
After selecting a frequency it stays in USB mode correctly.
I am using Kenwood TS2000 with CAT over RS232 cable. It worked great
in the last versions.
Maybe there was a change in Hamlib?
Hi Attila,
you need to check the "Settings->General->Monitor returns to last used
frequency" option if you want WSJT-X to set the rig when it starts. This
option is there to allow starting the application without disturbing the
rig.
I note you have RTS forced high on your CAT serial port configuration,
does your interface require that?
I also note you have not selected one of the active
"Settings->Radio->Split Operating" options, you will get better
performance if you do.
