I got a Pixel Pro 1B antenna and it gave me 7dB more sensitivity over my dipole.
I was doing measurement with another op in my area and could clearly see his 
7dB advantage on all bands which disappeared with the loop.

Loops like this have a very broad "figure of eight" pattern, with deep nulls, 
so they can strongly reject sources in the nulls.

Other loops, like the VE3DO design, have a cardioid pattern.
