Hi all.
Let me disagree for FT8, absolutely. It’s not a problem in RTTY, but not in FT8.
Due to the hurry at fixed slots and the psychological relevancy of the thing.
Over the second or third DUPE in a row I would leave in normal conditions.

BTW I’d never given up with a DUPE for several simple reasons, one is that him
could have taken wrong my call.
But even if to me it seems not polite leave DUPE unanswered I am pretty sure
that there are bunch of peoples that think differently.

At last, historically Contest is NO-DUPE, out of etiquette and personal
behaviour.
Logger, if WSJT/FT8 is a logger, means NO-DUPE. Not only beaming and so on.
It would also mean, logger, score calculation and more, more, more.

That, WSJT/FT8, is no more than a heavy effort external engine to a definitive
logger.
MMMTTY, 2Tone and even GRITTY are much more well integrated into loggers. Even
using those all together.

I would work any dupe in RTTY, I used that. When I know is a DUPE. I would’t
like AFTER to find more and more dupes in a row.
Also, last but not least, DUPEs are ISO in RTTY not in FT8, usually. That’s
another why as to workout anyone in RTTY, DUPE or not.

From my standpoint it is not a score problem, the SCORE is calculated by the
Contest Committee. Here locally it’s just speculation.
