I like enabling the Tx Watchdog. It is pretty much essential, in my opinion.
But there there are things that should be changed about the user interface to it. The watchdog can now only be adjusted in whole-minute increments. This made sense with the one-minute transmit cycle of the older modes, but not so much with FT8's 15 second cycle. I'd suggest changing the Tx Watchdog units under Settings to "Tx cycles". More intuitive to me at least, I think of it in terms of the number of the maximum times I will try a message before giving up, rather than limiting the time I spend doing it. Then also the Watchdog progress output... Now it's just an integer countdown of whole minutes in the far bottom left corner of the main window. This should show Tx cycles remaining. A bar graph might be nice, but it would need more horizontal space. Anyway, just a suggestion. 73, Paul K6PO
