Hi Unni,
there is no requirement to have older versions of WSJT-X installed but
as v2.1.0 RC5 is only a release candidate, i.e. a beta test release, we
recommend that you keep the current General Availability release
installed as well which is v2.0.1, either for comparison or to fall back
on if issues with the release candidate cause problems. All recent
released versions of WSJT-X are available from the project Source Forge
files area although we only offer support for the current GA release and
any Release Candidate that has not been superseded. To be clear
currently that v2.0.1 and v2.1.0 RC5.
