For comparison I am running the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of WSJT-X v2.1.0 GA concurrently. PWR sliders of both versions are set to about 50% (= -20.1 dB transmit digital gain). To reach in both cases the same TX PWR output at my Yaesu FT-991 I have to increase Windows Volume Control from 7 for all the 32-bit versions (and for 64-bit until 2.1.0-rc7) to about 80 for the new 64-bit GA release of WSJT-X. Although with that the audio level can be adjusted, this means a big difference in digital audio gain between the two versions. What may cause this difference? Is there another bug in QT 5.12.4? Or might there be a defect in the new 64-bit GA version of 2.1.0?

Works well so far here on my computer (64-bit Windows). One observation: With the new 64-bit GA version I needed to increase PWR slider from around 50 % to now nearly 100 % to get sufficient audio level at my FT-991. Old settings resulted in a few mW TX output. Will do some further tests, but seems to be reproducible. Anyone else experiencing that with the 64-bit version? 73 de Uwe, DG2YCB _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
