Hi Neil, I did not imply that they should. I simply stated the obvious that the Auto Log feature works only in a contest. As to how they might accomplish that, I would leave it to the developers. 73, Sam W2JDB -----Original Message----- From: Neil Zampella <[email protected]> To: wsjt-devel <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, Jul 23, 2019 4:08 pm Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] Logging
I seriously doubt that the developers will change the way the logging system works. It has been stated often enough that they do not want to create an automatic QSO machine, and so they want some human intervention to start a QSO, call CQ, and log a contact. That is what I tried to explain in my first message. Maybe the developers can add some other options. 73, Sam W2JDB -----Original Message----- From: Joe <[email protected]> To: Sam W2JDB <[email protected]>; wsjt-devel <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, Jul 23, 2019 11:52 am Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] Logging OK, But if I check that box, None of the choices it wants you also pick fits true? or what should I chose? to fool it? the exchange is the typical any day FT exchange 4 digit grid square, what would work?
