Thanks to Mike, W9MDB, who suggested to do a frequency reset to resolve the problem noted in my earlier email (below). All is well again after the reset.

I noticed that while using the FT8 mode on a standard FT8 frequency, when when the FT4 mode is selected from the "Mode" pull down list, the frequency is changed to the correct FT4 frequency for that band. However, after using FT4, when the user selects the FT8 mode from the "Mode" pull down menu, the mode changes, but WSJT-X does NOT change to the correct FT8 frequency for that band.
