Hi, Fortunately, there are only very few false positive decodes at wsjt-x v.2.1.0 (64 bit). But I've noticed for a long time that 99 to 100% of the false positive decodes are /R call signs. They are decoded at a2 to a6 level. Current example from 160m: "191045 -24 -1.4 378 ~ DG2YCB BO4BIG /R R FQ95" (a2).
Why? Is there any explanation for that? I am in normal FT8 mode. Wouldn't it be useful to suppress a priori decoding of /R callsigns when wsjt-x is not in contest or fieldday mode? 73 de Uwe, DG2YCB
