>From time to time there are stations who are significantly unsynchronized
with the FT8 cycle, as can be seen in the DT column. As a result, making
connections by and with these stations is difficult. It is likely that the
operators are not aware of the situation. Some may also be are unable to
fix it, for various reasons, such as being off-grid.

If WSJT-X would compute the median DT of received stations over a
reasonable period of time, it could alert the operator of the problem and
offer to correct it.

Notes and thoughts:
1. The correction is need not modify the computer clock but rather employ a
correction offset on top of it.
2. Each received station would contribute a single DT to the median
calculation regardless of the number of times it was decoded during the
sampling period.
3. The use of a median reduces the impact of other unsynchronized stations,
compared with the average DT.
4. The use of a threshold for the fix reduced the probability of the entire
swarm drifting from the global clock. The risk would be further reduced by
deleting the correction upon SWJT-X exit.

Please consider this suggestion for future development.
