This is really great stuff! I am monitoring 160m FT8 2 hours before
sunset so as to observe weak signals from Europe. RX setup is a K3 with
sub-receiver in diversity mode, a pair of 300m broadside co-phased
beverages (100m separation) to main RX and a BSEF 8-circle array to the
sub-receiver.
It is clear there is advantage to the spatial (stereo) diversity
component in this modified jt9 decoder. I am also monitoring the main
receiver audio with a vanilla WSJT-X / jt9 instance as well as with
JTDX. There are a small number of occasions when JTDX will pick up a
decode that is missed with any of the WSJT-X instances (both diversity
capable and not), but the diversity capable install clearly dominates.
I hope something like this may be considered for inclusion in the
mainline code.

Changes compared to WSJTX 2.0.0 version are: FT4 works now, summing up
can be done faster on slower PCs,
description/guideline paper is almost usable.
Full RX diversity capabilities demand two coherent receivers like K3
or IC-7610,
but others might get it usable for frame level diversity or simple
time diversity.
Big thanks to WSJT developers team for releasing sources and making it
possible.
