Hi, I noted that in the EU VHF contest logging a wrong information is logged into database, when AP decoding and automatic logging is activated. If the confirmation message that initiates logging happens to be decoded with AP, then the AP level (a2) will be logged instead of the report and 6 digit locator.
Of course that can be corrected after the contest using ALL.TXT, but during the contest the related call sign is indicated as a new one, in my case also as a new grid square and that disturbs a lot! I could have deleted that line from the database (contest log) during the contest as well, but did not wanted to build QSO from scratch in the middle of contest especially as I noted what happened only after next completed QSO. Thanks for correcting last year problems with the EU VHF contest logging, I have not noted those mixed reports any more. 73, Reino oh3mA
