The document "FT8 DXpedition Mode User Guide" is very explicit under "Detailed Instructions for Hounds" :

9. Please do not call Fox if you are not receiving his transmissions. Do not call
Fox if he issues a directed CQ (“CQ EU”, “CQ 7”, ...) and your continent or
numerical call area does not match the requested one. Calling out of turn only
creates QRM, and will certainly not get you a QSO.


In fact, it's very evident and doesn't need any further explanation, but on the air...........
