The operation of these WSJT default frequencies on 160m and 80m were prohibited 
from the first day of my ham life in 1961. I know the founders of JARL had been 
asking to open these spectrum at that time saying “JA’s long held-cherished 
wish” but they could not make before their SK. I am lucky to see full spectrum 
of FT8 signals celebrating the opening last night. It passed a half of century. 
Sometime, “To  the promotion of science and technology” is the best political 
slogan in radio regulation policy making.
