Shut down WSJT-X, extract this into a separate directory and open a cmd prompt, cd to the directory, and run this rigctld -m 28001 -r COM1 -s 9600 -Z -vvvvv >log.txt 2>&1 Then start WSJT-X...you'll get an error...and set the rig to "Hamlib NET rigctl". The "Test" button should go green when you click it. Then see if it still misbehaves do a CTRL-C in the rigctld window and send me the log.txt file.
