I must disagree. Good use of the Configuration capability is certainly not "exactly opposite the instruction given in the User Manual". Thousands of WSJT-X users have used what's in the User Guide, together with the on-screen menu options, to make effective and convenient use of Configurations.

If you find something in the User Guide instructions that is confusing or hard to follow, by all means tell us! How else will we know? At the time we wrote it, we thought is was clear enough.
