Hi Gene,
That did work for me as well. For what it's worth, I went back to RC1 just to make sure it worked with the original settings (to rule out rig & computer issues) and it worked fine. 73, David, K2DBK From: Gene H <ghin...@gmail.com> Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2020 7:29 PM To: wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] Rig control error with RC2 I found I had to uncheck SPLIT and take my radio out of split mode and just use the FAKE IT option in WSJT-X. Radio here is IC-7610. Always worked in split in prior versions. Gene, K5PA On 5/24/2020 5:21 PM, K2DBK-WSJT wrote: I've just installed rc2 and I'm having rig control issues. It appears that for anything that sends a command (change bands, tune, etc.) to the rig I get the Rig Control Error popup with the error "Hamlib error: Command rejected by the rig while setting split TX frequency and mode". If I'm trying to do a band change it does change bands but the 2nd VFO is left at the prior value. For example, if I change from 20m to 6m the 2nd VFO remains set to the 20m frequency. If I click on OK or Retry it returns to the program but the rig doesn't respond. This was working fine on RC1 immediately before I installed RC2. OS is Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 Build 19041.264 (Windows Insider slow ring). Rig is Icom 7600. Split operation is set to Rig, PTT is CAT. (None of that has changed. This is running v2.2.0-rc2 64-bit. -- 73, David, K2DBK http://k2dbk.blogspot.com http://k2dbk.com twitter: @k2dbk _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net <mailto:wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel -- Gene Hinkle 9109 Topridge Drive, Austin, TX 78750 e-mail to Gene: ghin...@gmail.com <mailto:ghin...@gmail.com> cell phone or text messaging: (512) 413-9251 --
