Are you running in split mode?
If so, try using Fake It.

Hi All,
This might be a "bug" with both WSJT-X 2.2.0-rc2 and WSJT-X 2.1.2.
I’m using a Kenwood TS-690S with a Dell Latitude E740Laptop, 2.60 GHz, 4.00 GB,
64-bit with Windows 7 Pro Service Pack 1. I'm also using a Tigertronics
Signalink for an interface using the microphone and phone jacks. I'm not using
CAT control.
Using the standard release of WSJT, v2.1.2, I've made 1,000+ FT8 contacts.
However, I've experienced an “odd” intermittent and random problem. During an
automatic FT8 QSO sequence (i.e., QSO already in progress andnot the first
call) that the WSJT-X will "display" the correct text to be transmitted but
will sometimes randomly “skip” thetransmit window without transmitting. It
will always resume transmitting correctly during the next transmit window. In
addition, but less often, the transmission will be delayed by 9 seconds of the
13-secondtransmit window and transmit for 4 seconds. Again, it will transmit
correctly during the next transmit window.
I've checked all of the obvious items including sound-card settings as well as
completely uninstalled and reinstalled both the 32-bit and 64-bit WSJT-X
versions. No difference.
There is no audio heard when "listening" to the monitoring jack of the
Tigertronics Signalink when this random error occurs.
When using the developmental WSJT-X 2.2.0-rc2 version, and the program will not
transmit at all.
This might be a "bug" and I thought I should let you know.
Thanks,WillWB1DMK
