Just got done walking a fellow ham through WSJTX setup on his new IC-9700 with latest firmware.
We found that in split Rig mode transmit would always be in FM while Rx would be in USB-D. The radio's VFO B happen to be in FM some time prior and it appears that when the WSJTX shifts the rig into split mode it needs to send a command to also set the VFO-B mode to USB-D. That message appears to be absent. Works fine on VFO A. Mike K7MDL EL87sm & CN88sf
