Perhaps the first question to ask is - How many users of WSJT-X use Tab 2
messages? If I'm the only one then there will be no howls of protest and I
shall just have to get used to using Tab 1 messages. Yes, I came to WSJT-X
from JT65-HF.

I use Tab 2 most of the time, except for contests. If Tab 2 went away, I
suppose I could deal with it. Yes, I also came from JT65-HF.
