Hi Pino,
to have the patch applied automatically you must start from the
beginning with a freshly extracted tarball. If you wish to simply fix up
an existing build then you will have to apply the patch manually,
something like this:
patch -p1 -d ~/src/wsjtx-2.3.0-rc1/builddir/wsjtx-prefix/src
<~/Downloads/wsjtx.patch
