Can also be something like HDMI video circuit in a laptop going to sleep after startup, even if you are not using the external connector. Found that last year on my new laptop.

That message is a new one designed to highlight systems that may be unable to provide a continuous stream of audio to WSJT-X. There can be many causes from selective device suspensions to periods of high system load. Another cause can be time synchronization events by SNTP type synchronization type utilities.
