I am having an issue with setting the power slider. When I operate the
slider with my mouse or trackpad the movement is in the opposite
direction than expected for this type of control. When finished the
slider grip disappears making further adjustments difficult.

This issue is known and will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for
the issue report.
Please start a new topic for a new query, replying to an existing
conversation thread and changing the subject line is not sufficient to
start a whole new topic thread.
