Good morning everyone:
Symptom: WSJTX v2.4.0rc1 crashes (self-closes all windows) with MALLOC
error:
Steps to duplicate behavior:
1. Launch WSJT-X using terminal window:
/Applications/wsjtx.app/Contents/MacOS/wsjtx. This returns (in
terminal window): Segmentation Fault 11
2. Frequency select in to 6m 50.210 MHz (this causes WSJT-X
immediately to Monitor ON (even with Monitor Off on Startup in
Preferences).
3. Mode set to Q65-60A, SH messages checked
4. Position mouse into “TO RADIO” field and click to put mouse
there.. program closes.

Hi Dave,
I have not yet been able to reproduce this issue. It is somehow related
to the text entered in the WSJT-X main window frequency/band selection
entry. Above you say "Frequency select in to 6m 50.210 MHz", what
exactly did that entail. For example were you selecting a preset working
frequency, or were you directly entering a new frequency?
