Hi Bill, Thanks for your quick response. In my fatigue last night, I overlooked a programming error where I truncated the wav file after the wsprd cmd. So jt9 was given a zero length wav file which generated the error. The antenna at my home QTH is so poor that I haven't found any FST4W signals to be decoded, and my primary test site KFS has no RF feeds below 80M. So testing my use of ft9 is a little challenging.
Hopefully the beta version of WD 3.0 will soon be in test at OE9GHV, WA2TP and other top spotting sites and that will encourage more beacons to migrate to FST4W 73, Rob On Wed, Feb 24, 2021 at 2:08 AM Bill Somerville <[email protected]> wrote: > On 24/02/2021 05:14, Rob Robinett wrote: > > Hi, > > I want to enhance my wsprdameon system so that the many top spotters sites > which use it will start reporting FST4W spots. > > However a 2 minute long 12 Ksps wav file which is successfully decode by > 'wsprd' produces a linux system error: > > .../bin/jt9 --fst4w -p 120 210224_0456.wav > wsprd_stdout.txt > At line 58 of file /home/pi/wsjtx-prefix/src/lib/readwav.f90 (unit = 26, > file = '210224_0456.wav') > Fortran runtime error: End of file > > Perhaps I have missed documentation for the usage of 'jt9'.
