appear when the mode is changed in a manner which is not compatible with
the current timeout setting. This window can then offer to…

- change the timeout to an reasonable value, compatible with the new
selected mode. I suggest to populate the entry field for the new
proposed value of the timeout with a reasonable value which the operator
can change or accept as is.
