Hi guys,
my post is a bit off topic but I am sure that soon some people will face the same problem as I did last night. I have installed a new Windows 11, so far so good ;o) When I tried to install WSJT-X by double clicking on the installation file, the file explorer crashed and the computer could only be shut down by hard reset. The same with the second attempt, over the context menu as Admin. Big frown... After research, I found out thatWindows 11 does not allow the installations of programs from questionable downloads.... You have to give explicit permission to such an installation file: Right click on the installation file > Properties, there at the bottom, at "allow" set a hook. then the installation works without problems. Sorry I have only a German Windows, that will differ from language to language. 73 Joe -- Diese E-Mail wurde von AVG auf Viren geprüft. http://www.avg.com
