I am using WSJT v. 24. It has been working fine up until about a week ago. I
have a Rig Expert TI-5000 which I use as the interface between my Yaesu
FT-1000mp MKV and my PC.

The problem is that when I set the software to the FT 8 (or FT 4)
frequency-those are the only modes that I use, the CAT system works, and my rig
goes to the same frequency. About a second later my WSJT software bounces to
18.104 973. The rig stays on the original frequency. The software does decode
the signals from the rig's frequency. When I try to return the decoded call, my
rig pops to 18.104 973. My rig appears as though it is transmitting (I see my
CQ on the upper right column in the right WSJT window) except there is no power
out registered on my rig. The software does this with every band I try to
decode and transmit on.

Any idea what is wrong? If you can't help, is there anyone who can help?

Thanks a lot &73.

Jim
