Hi there, I launched WSJT-X 2.5.0 rc6 this morning and forgot to turn on my radio. This caused the app to crash which I believe might be a new bug. My version of WSJT-X was built locally from source (release build).
Here’s the relevant part of the crash log (which I still have in case someone is interested in seeing the whole thing): terminating with uncaught exception of type TransceiverBase::error: Hamlib error: Communication timed out newcat.c(1528):newcat_get_vfo return(-5) rig_get_vfo: returning -5(Communication timed out newcat.c(9706):newcat_get_cmd return(-5) newcat.c(1528):newcat_get_vfo return(-5) newcat.c(1528):newcat_get_vfo return(-5))rig.c(2779):rig_get_vfo return(-5) while testing getting current VFO abort() called I feel like the fix would be to catch this exception and report an error.
