Just got one of the new X6100’s and wanted to pass on a setup I have found to operate with WSJTx - v2.5.3, x64 on Win10.
Rig = Xiegu X108G - I read online IC-7000 would work also. it did not work well for me. Serial port = com10 - dropdown menu shows 3 new ports when the X6100 is plugged into a USB port - com8, com10 & USB. On my machine, com8 is audio in, com10 is both CAT and audio out. USB does nothing. Port does not work if speed not set to 19200. Data & Stop bits = default. Handshake = default, but port works better if DTR & RTS = high. PTT = CAT. Transmit Audio Source = greyed out. Split Operation = Fake It - Rig does not work. At the X6100, audio and CAT are via the the DEV USB-C port and in Radio Settings 1: Line Out Lv = 1 - about 60% level on WSJTx input, 0 gives no output to WSJTx, higher than 2 overloads WSJTx’s input. Line In Lv = 2 - full power out with WSJTx output set for -0.3dB, higher settings add distortion. Maybe a separate X6100 driver setup with default 19200 port speed, handshake and mode should be added to HamLib. Probably, the DTS/DTR = high and Mode = Rig not working should be further investigated also.
