A couple of weeks ago some one asked about using an SDR receiver and a standard transmitter with WSJT. My first thought was that as long as the audio was routed property, that would be possible.
But then someone pointed out that you would lose Doppler control since the Radio tab only has one entry. I don’t know if anything is being considered to address this request, but I thought that if there was, then maybe something could also be done to address the crossband issue encountered on 2304/2320 and maybe on 3.4 or 10.4 GHz in the future. I suppose if an independent receiver and transmitter were implemented, that would be one solution. But I think it might somehow be accomplished with just one transceiver with the ability to set receive and transmit frequencies separately. The present software expects both units to be on the same frequency. Thanks for your time. Thanks for the great software package. I always marvel when I see the decode print out on my screen when the signal is at an incredibly low level, not detectable to the human eye or ear.
