WSJT-X versions 2.3.0, 2.5.4, and 2.6.0 rc4 do not display the correct audio device names if the names have been changed. Other apps, such as Soundcard Scope, show the current device name.
E.g. I change my TS-590S audio CODEC name from "microphone" to "TS-590 RX". That name shows in the audio device list of Soundcard Scope but WSJT-X settings/audio does not show the revised name. The TX and RX audio path can still be correctly selected but the device names are not correct. Why doesn't WSJT-X use the current USB Audio CODEC device names? Thanks and 73, Andy k3wyc
