HI Folks, I have built wsjtx rc5 from source both a brand new (super clean) Linux Mint machine, as well as an older raspberry pi. Both built correctly, however, when I run wsjtx, I see no frequencies defined in the frequency dropdown box, and the wspr band hopping schedule screen has no bands or checkboxes.
Any frequencies I add manually work fine, but the ones that used to come with the software originally don't seem to be there in RC-5. The Mint laptop, has a freshly built version 21 (Vanessa), I have Language set to U.S. English, Region set to Brazil, and the time format set to English, United States. (I.e. this system speaks English, but thinks its in Brazil and uses a comma instead of a decimal point.) The Raspberry PI is all U.S. English in terms of Language, and region. It is running Buster, and is not especially clean, but has never had wsjtx built or installed until now. The laptop is running Linux Mint Vanessa, freshly installed. I've built from source many times on the pi, and don't remember ever having this problem. Hopefully this is helpful to somebody. Thanks! —al PP1/WB1BQE
