Bjorn, Ref your recent question - "Has anyone else experienced this?" Short answer - no.
I recently returned to Virginia from spending time in Hawaii. I was on the Big Island and had unbelievable six meter band conditions which repeated for four or five days in a row in March. [great February conditions too with multi-day 6M openings] My WSJT-X screen was sometimes solid red on both sides with calling stations. I worked FT8 and FT4 for hours without a problem. FYI - the all-dot-txt file contained over 27,000 lines of 6M data from mid-to-late February to late'ish March ... with breaks in operation. Everything was A-OK. The number of decodes is unknown of course. Do not recall the number of stations worked, but maybe 500 or 600 unique calls or so. Just a SWAG [scientific wild ass guess]. [[as you know, the all-dot-txt file records everything the radio hears ... not just me ... ergo the 27,000 lines of data.]] Joe - that is a great historical file! By the way, I use an older WSJT-X version because it seems some of the newer versions cause various issues. Sorry Joe. But Joe, on the other hand, this is also a testimony on the robustness of WSJT-X. Of course you are correct about the cause of this bug. The issue was reported in January, and supposedly corrected in bug release 2.6.1. Alas, it was corrected in only one of two necessary places. It will be fixed in the next release. -- 73, Joe, K1JT On 5/2/2023 1:51 PM, Björn Ekelund via wsjt-devel wrote: > Decoding the DX0NE pile-up repeatedly crashes WSJT-X 2.6.1.
