If I am at the bottom of the passband, and I am calling a station, it is normal and expected that my tx freq on my radio goes down by 1 KHzwhen I am transmitting, and then returns when I receive. If I hit theHalt Tx button during transmit, the radio frequency remains on the down 1 Khz frequency. The radio dial freq should be returning back to the original freq.
For example I was calling a station at the bottom of the passband on 12m 24915 today. I decided to give up on him, and hit Halt Tx. My earsheard something wrong, and I noticed my radio dial freq was 24914. Tnx & 73, Tim N6GP
