On a couple of recent occasions, when I've been looking out for N5J, I've come across HH2AA operating as a SuperFox on 18095kHz. Each of HH2AA's transmissions that I've decoded has included the 'HH2AA verified' message.
The SuperFox User Guide includes the following statement: "Authorized keys will be issued in advance for legitimate DXpeditions by the Northern California DX Foundation" Does anyone know if a key has been issued to HH2AA? I'll be somewhat surprised if it has because HH2AA isn't exactly difficult to work using standard FT8! The apparent presence of HH2AA on the 17m frequency that's been advertised for N5J has made me begin to wonder if there's perhaps a hash collision that's causing the genuine N5J to appear as HH2AA. -- 73, Martin G0HDB -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. www.avast.com _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
