Hopefully this is only temporarily the case until Joe and co. change the
authentication mechanism to something non-obfuscated, due to time
pressure for the N5J DXpedition it was done using easily broken
algorithms and hence the need to not provide the source. Not the best
decision in terms of GPL adherence, but I think we all understand the
reasoning. This rewrite is now in progress, but I don't think anyone
yet knows exactly when it will be released.
