Hi Arek,

Many thanks for your translations of the WSJT-X 3.0.2 user interface into Polish and German. We greatly appreciate the effort you have put into it. These translations will be made available in the next release of WSJT-X, which we hope to make fairly soon.

Hi Sirs,
My name is Arek Czak from Poland (SP1AKU).
I have been working on complete Polish and German translations of the WSJT-X 3.0.2 user interface. I am attaching the populated Qt translation files:
  • wsjtx_pl.ts – Polish translation
  • wsjtx_de.ts – German translation
I have tried to translate the complete user interface, including dialogs, menus, tooltips, filters, colors/highlighting, advanced settings, alerts, reporting, frequency settings, Cloudlog/Wavelog and eQSL-related controls. Standard amateur-radio terms, mode names, protocol names and abbreviations such as FT8, FT4, Q65, WSPR, CAT, PTT, DXCC, LoTW, Hamlib, etc. have intentionally been left in their standard technical form where appropriate.
In addition to the .ts files intended for the WSJT-X project, I have also prepared unofficial Windows language packages for end users. These packages do not modify the WSJT-X source code. They install the compiled translation file, create a language-specific shortcut, detect non-standard WSJT-X installation paths automatically (for example installations on D: or another drive), allow manual path selection when necessary, install the translated local User Guide, and keep backups so the original files and shortcut can be restored.
I have also prepared translated User Guides for Polish and German based on the WSJT-X 3.0.2 documentation. If the project is interested, I can provide those separately as well.
The end-user packages are clearly marked as an independent translation/package prepared by SP1AKU Czaku; they do not claim authorship of WSJT-X itself. WSJT-X and the original documentation remain credited to the WSJT Development Team and their respective authors.
If you prefer, I can also merge these translations into fresh unpopulated .ts files generated from the current WSJT-X source tree using the exact CMake procedure you described. Please let me know if any wording, terminology, file naming, locale code, or formatting should be adjusted before submission.
