After a quick reading: The piece could have been much more informative if it had included
- Version numbers for the three programs tested.
- Results for each program's "most sensitive" decoding options. Why use "AP disabled" for WSJT-X, when nearly everybody uses AP?
- Results for more than a dozen FT8 Rx sequences. (It would be easy enough to do similar tests for, say, a thousand sequences.)
- Useful information on the frequency of false decodes.
Someone should have caught the fact that the frequency axis of Figure 3 was botched in production.
