Are there instructions to compile from source on Linux? The last time
I looked it seemed like the instructions were very different than in

We are pleased to announce that *Release Candidate WSJT-X
v3.2.0-rc1* is available for download here:
https://github.com/WSJTX/wsjtx/releases
Release Candidates give advanced users an opportunity to exercise
new features and provide feedback to developers. If you use this
Release Candidate, please send related comments or questions by
opening an *Issue *or contributing to a *Discussion* at our public
repository home page, https://github.com/WSJTX/wsjtx
<https://github.com/WSJTX/wsjtx>
or by sending email to one of our user forums.
*WSJT-X 3.2.0* introduces a new mode, *JTTY*, along with new
capabilities for *Q65*,//*MAP65*, and *QMAP* and a large number of
improvements and bug fixes.
A new */WSJT-X/ User Guide* is posted here
https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/wsjtx-main-3.2_en.html
<https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/wsjtx-main-3.2_en.html>,
and a brief summary of new features is here
https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/wsjtx-main-3.2_en.html#NEW_FEATURES
<https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/wsjtx-main-3.2_en.html#NEW_FEATURES>.
Updates to the User Guide are still being made; the present
version has some out-of-date screen shots, and some missing text.
A more detailed record of changes since version 3.0.2 is in the
Release Notes, available here:
https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/release_notes.html
<https://wsjtx.github.io/wsjtx/release_notes.html>.
If you decide to try JTTY mode, we suggest an initial common
meeting place of 14.090 MHz on the 20m band. Alternatively, use
one of these (very preliminary!) suggested
Band kHz
-----------
160 1838
80 3575
40 7090
30 10140
20 14090
17 18100
15 21090
12 24920
10 28090
6 50160
2 144160
Most of these frequencies will appear in the WSJT-X default
frequencies list if you right-click and select "Reset" on the
table in the *Settings | Frequencies* tab. But you might prefer to
enter needed ones manually, so as to not lose other
manually-entered values. If JTTY becomes popular, you may expect
some or all of the suggested dial frequencies to change.

We invite any and all experienced users to exercise the new
features found in WSJT-X, MAP65, and QMAP. We look forward to
receiving your feedback. We will be working toward an early GA
release of WSJT-X 3.2.0.
