The beta1 builds and runs from source on Fedora Core 44 x86-64. There were no problems building or running with FC 44's Boost version 1.90.0-7.
The Fedora Core RPM installer has a hard dependency on Boost version 1.83.0, which was used in FC 43. FC 43 is scheduled to go end-of-life on 12-02-2026, so the Boost version dependency should probably be changed to "at least version 1.83.0" rather than requiring that exact version. -- P.J.
