You don't have to use that old snapshot anymore. Check the main distribution from svn repository, it's already fixed and everything works again. I have just uploaded a README.txt with fully detailed instructions on how to build and deploy the wsrp4j producer and consumer. It even includes some configuration portlets for the consumer. Regards.
