Hi all,
An initial version of the Axiom based C14N is already available at
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/webservices/commons/trunk/modules/axiom/modules/axiom-c14n/
Its API is pretty much the same as that of Apache XMLSec's C14N. I have
couple of improvements in my head and will add them soon.

performance as far as WSS4J is concerned, not PKC.
I believe that some students have built out C14N directly in Axiom and
are planning to contribute it to Axiom shortly. That should make a big
difference.
