To clarify further, the qualified extension points that I've removed are,

org.eclipse.wst.wsdl.validation.uriresolver
org.eclipse.wst.wsdl.validation.xmlcatalog

[wtp-dev] Two extension points removed from WSDL validator

I've removed the following two extension points from the WSDL validator:

uriresolver

xmlcatalog

Both extension points are remnants of the WSDL validator's life in the WSVT project and neither are longer required or in use in WTP. The recommended way to customize resource resolution in the WSDL validator is to use the URI resolution framework and the XML catalog.

If this poses problems for any adopters please let me know and I can work with you to migrate to the URI resolution framework.
