I’ve created https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=122593 to track the design and selection of an official WTP logo. Scott
Oja (a graphic designer at BEA) designed some potential logos based on ideas I
provided that are attached to the bug (and see below). Others are encouraged to
provide additional designs (or suggestions for improving existing designs) –
the bug contains some additional information on color use, etc. We’ll take logo design submissions through the end of
January, and votes through February 16th, then pick the logo based
on community feedback in the bug. Our goal is to have the logo selected in time
for use at EclipseCon ’06 in mid March.
