Team, I've put Xerces 2.8 in our 1.5 builds. (We were using 2.7)
Everything compiled, and *my* JUnit's ran ok locally.
You might keep an eye on the validation JUnits on Monday, and/or give a bit more testing this week to things that are xerces sensitive.
We can always revert if complicated problems are found ... but ... maybe some of their bug fixes will be good for us?
